About
The Stillness Of The Night depicts a serene snowy winter landscape, with the picturesque white blanket of snow creating a sense of calm often experienced during the quietness of the night and whilst admiring beautiful winter scenes.
Inspiration has also been taken from the Japanese woodblock printmaking art movement known as Shin-hanga (New prints), which merged together Ukiyo-e traditions from the East with European influences.
This contemporary Japanese style landscape art print on Somerset soft white satin paper was hand pulled by the artist in her Brighton printmaking studio. Under A Pale Moon complements this print when hung together.
